Pardeeville School District officials confronted their Republican state legislators this week with the harsh realities of their education policies. According to the Portage Daily Register:
“Because we’ve used up every alternative we could, this is the first time we’re now starting to impact children (with cuts),” Superintendent Gus Knitt said during a slide presentation for State Sen. Luther Olsen, R-Ripon, and Rep. Keith Ripp, R-Lodi. “The cuts to co-curricular, the cuts to education, classroom teachers — we have no other place to go. And if things don’t change, that’s what we’ll continue to do.”
